The D A T A S K Y project consists in reconnecting man to the natural elements (light, sky...) and in restoring a balance within the living space where time flows. (light, sky...) and in restoring a balance within the living space where time will be respected and in adequacy with our biological system. The main concept is to extract data from the sky and visualize them inside the house.
The project has been a research on meteorology and its new technologies: how to extract data from the sky? How to extract data from the sky? How to measure light intensities? The movements? How to transcribe these data inside the house? What kind of new light technologies should be used? This research start with the problem of insomnia and technology addiction. I analyze insomnia from the perspective of generation z, who grew up with laptops and smartphones that disrupt our relationship to time, our bodies, and sleep management: the predominantly blue wavelengths we receive impact our circadian rhythms and our biological clock. Biological clock. This analysis is based on the theories of chronobiology, experimental psychology and the philosophical approach of the biological clock. The first step of the project will therefore be a transversal research between health care and new technologies.
